How You MUST "Draw" Straws... And the Week in Review

You keep using that word. I don't think you know what it means...

Dear Reader:

Amelia and I went bowling today. Then we went to the arcade.

I’m very good at defeating claw machines… if you learn anything about me.

It’s a very random spatial skill.

The problem is that there is nowhere else to put this gigantic Sonic doll.

This is one more thing that’s now in my house.

That said, we went to the family restaurant. Amelia wanted toast and to play a few games.

But someone has to go first in chess, Tic Tac Toe, and other things.

She said… “We have to draw straws” to decide who goes first.

So, I grabbed a few cocktail straws from behind the bar.

When I showed them to her, she said… “No. That’s not right.”

She proceeded to get crayons and paper.

And then, for the next three minutes, we physically drew straws.
