In late 2022, at the height of the GILT Crisis and the FTX meltdown, I bought Bitcoin for around $21,000.
I sold half when it rebounded from the liquidity bottom and hit $42,000.
Now, the remaining position is up at $84,000 per BTC.
Do I sell half? Or take it all off the table…
I was prepared to sell after the recent downturn, largely because I have questions about the markets heading into the spring.
The question above came from my wife when my remaining Bitcoin position hit a critical mental line I’d set for my remaining position.
She knows little about Bitcoin and cares little about the markets.
However, she seems to have a strong understanding of pattern recognition.
I tend to let “free positions” ride. However, the uncertainty around the lack of stimulus in this environment made me panic (despite all my conditioning).
