Dear Fellow Expat:

I was a little bummed the other day.

I haven’t heard any new music that stirred my emotions.

It could be a song that makes me laugh, a song that makes me cry, or a song that makes me want to run through a brick wall.

But it’s been quiet for creativity when it comes to my taste.

My doctor from yesterday said his favorite movie predated me:

To Kill a Mockingbird… he said.

I told him the best film ever directed is Vertigo… do I beat him by a few years?
