Postcards: S#*t Your Realtor Says
It's a great time to buy... it's a great time to sell... it's a great time for government to throw more money at the problem... buy... sell... buy... help... buy... sell! (passes out under a desk).
Dear Fellow Expat:
A realtor owns the biggest house in my neighborhood.
It’s custom-built, the size of the Canton Football Hall of Fame, and has enough lights to see it from space.
I’m sure he’s a nice guy. He drives a neon jeep with his company logo on the side (that’s how to write off a $70,000 vehicle).
Last week, I received a letter from him in my mailbox. It was an analysis of all the home prices in my neighborhood. It included a quote with his smiling face: “It’s a Great Time to Sell.”
Out of curiosity, I went to his website, where I saw a link to another real estate agent’s site.
Her profile said it’s a “Great time to Buy!”
Oh… boy… I felt like a dog being told to sit and go at the same time… What do I do?
