Our market indicators have been positive since the first week of November. But we’re starting to get into a territory on the S&P 500 where things are not only overbought, but there’s a lot of weakness on the selling side. Upstream energy is still selling off, but a bottom is forming in that sector. We are witnessing extreme FOMO and a Relative Strength Index for the S&P 500 SPDR ETF (SPY) of 73. Keep a close eye on its 20-day moving average, as a breakdown could trigger selling. More importantly, check out Porter Stansberry’s latest warning as the dangers loom for 2024.

Dear Fellow Expat:

I wanted to be a fiction writer.

Well, I am one. But there’s just one issue.

The problem with fiction is that you have to make it up.

I’ve written two novels and a film - and they are daunting tasks.

I’ve only published one novel, though.

It’s called The Man with the Big Red Balloon - and it took me about four years to finish.
