Prepare yourselves, non-citizens of the Florida Republic. I’ve traveled across our border into the strange and dangerous American body politick.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) warned that two-thirds of the U.S. energy grid could face blackouts during the Summer of 2023. Read the articles, and the headlines will tell you that it’s a “heat wave” that will cause a blackout. As if we’ve never had heat waves in the United States. I hate to break it to writers at MSN and CNN: Heat waves don’t cause blackouts.

A supply-demand energy imbalance does.

What’s the real issue? The Energy Information Administration (EIA) explained the problem with the grid in a statement Monday.
