A conversation with myself on a snow day...
Dear Fellow Expat:
It’s been seven years since I dealt with snow. I fished my North Face boots from those years in Chicago out of a box, spent 15 minutes re-stringing the shoe laces, and then discovered that the rubber was cracked in the front. After a half-hour sledding, these boots didn’t make it. They are heading to a recycling center alongside the magic kit my daughter won at the miniature golf course.
Shhh… don’t tell her.
Today, as the snow continues to fall and my wife and daughter extend their Christmas break by at least three days… I’m working and asking myself many questions.
