Here’s the 1,000-page minibus that congressional staffers pored over all night.
Look at that. You paid for that stack of paper, which isn’t cheap these days.
The six-bill omnibus funds roughly 75% of the government, keeping the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense, Labor, Education, Health and Human Services, and State operational, thus avoiding a full or partial shutdown.
Lawmakers have until the stroke of midnight to pass a deal.
So… they only have until maybe 11 pm to read it.

Well - here’s the thing. All that freshly printed ink represents money that’s up for grabs. I have no control over the government spending my tax money and borrowing away my future. I can be mad. Or I can get a spear and hunt for some of it back.
