This week marked the return of two of the world’s wealthiest men to buying shares in their favorite oil companies: Warren Buffett and Carlos Slim.
Warren Buffett began purchasing Occidental shares again when they dipped below $60, a strategy that has characterized the Berkshire Hathaway Chairman’s approach since he first bought the stock in early 2022.
Since then, Buffett has made 27 purchases of OXY stock, amassing a total of 252,333,913 shares, which constitutes approximately 28.4% of the company.
