2nd row right field. From 1965 (I was 14) to 1977 bleacher seats were "reserved" for regs. in 1967 70 games. My fave (other than Ernie) was "Spanky" on his cushion (old Al Spangler). I kept the tic stubs. In 85 we went to a Cub double header and then red lined down to old Comiskey and completed a triple header. We attempted a beer an inning but failed. I have dozens of BP baseballs.
Great story! When I was based in Chicago in the early 70’s and lived quite near the Drake Hotel, I attended many Cubs games that we always lost, but we always had a lot of fun anyway.
I'm IMPRESSED at your long tenacity with B'ball! One Texas Rangers game (I'm from DFW) cured Me! Thee longest, most expensive, Boring 3+ hours I ever spent doing anything....besides breathing! You're a Viking G'Man!!
