Dear Reader,

Comedian John Mulaney has a short bit about the joy of “doing nothing.”

He notes that “canceling plans” is fantastic.

But doing nothing is even more exciting.

“Did you ever ask an adult what they did over the weekend, and they say they didn’t do anything…” he asks. “Their faces light up.”

That’s how I feel about the stock market right now.

You might be sitting on a Friday payday, eager to buy new stocks or make a trade.

But the reality is that you should join our camp over here and do nothing.

Let me explain why that’s the best option in this market heading into the weekend.
