The Last Day of Postcards...
Saying goodbye to a dear old friend... but now we start a different chapter.
Dear Fellow Expat:
Perhaps it’s fitting that the last official “Postcards” comes from aboard a Southwest flight.
After all, it was on this blisteringly terrible airline that I sent my favorite postcard ever… the one about the surprise religious revival on the way down to Florida.
Today is a day I’d forgotten. April 1, 2025.
It was marked on my calendar.
It is the day before the new brand of this letter.
So, yes, it is the final “Postcards from the Republic.”
This isn’t an April Fool’s Day joke.
It will take on a new name starting tomorrow - my 44th Birthday.
This is just the natural progression of this publication.
Today, Postcards hit the Top 50 - Rising In Finance List in Substack.
Of course, how would you even know it is a financial publication from the title?

Postcards was originally a protest article.
It was a weekly column that was 15 pages long.
It had charts and absurd stories. It talked about the Fed, stocks to watch, and my favorite trading strategies.
