Dear Reader:
Greetings from my parents’ basement. Today, we came over to watch the Baltimore Orioles play the Toronto Blue Jays. My daughter and I arrived before the first pitch.
My wife said she would come after going to the store. But there’s a good chance she went to get a massage or have a mimosa. I wouldn’t blame her.
My daughter has been bouncing off the walls like a ping-pong ball. My father said, “I’m getting tired just watching her.”
Maybe we’ll go to Kid’s Opening Day. They say that each kid gets to run around the bases once after the game. But I thought of bringing different outfits and fake mustaches to get her to run at least 20 to 30 times.
That way, she’ll calm down.
