Dear Fellow Expat:

It's the equivalent of Willy Wonka's golden ticket for baseball card collectors...

Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes finished this past baseball season as Rookie of the Year. And he qualified for the Cy Young Award, which will be awarded tonight to the top pitcher in the league.

And Topps, the largest card manufacturer, has created a frenzy by releasing a single – yes, only one exists – card with a patch worn by Skenes during his rookie debut attached to his autograph.

The card is likely worth at least $1 million.

Across the country, people are spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in hopes of "pulling" that specific card. This headline says everything:
