Dear Fellow Traveler:
Last night, I attended an incredible fundraiser.
I saw friends from high school. My parents attended. We had a great time.
However… the event wrapped up around 10 p.m., and I lost track of time.
I was busy watching the second Final Four basketball game.
Most people had left, and I had a bar stool.
Suddenly, this bar - in Towson, Maryland, where there is a major university - had transformed into a “college bar.”
Heavy thumping music… you know how it goes…
Now… I’m 44. I used to hang out in this bar… this same place… at 18.
But now, I’m the ONLY person with a seat at the bar (they pulled all the chairs except for mine)…
When a bouncer asked me to let go of my chair, the manager walked up and said… “He’s good…”
Turns out that the manager is a subscriber to The Capital Wave Report and moved to cash equivalents on… February 26. He avoided this market downturn too.
So, I got to keep my seat for a little while longer… I’ll take it.
